Description:
Over 3,800 acres, Otis State Forest is scattered throughout town, from a large tract in East Otis to a section that Route 23 bisects in western Otis. These lands feature multi-use trails and offer hunting and fishing in several streams and ponds, including Upper Spectacle Pond. The Historic Knox trail runs through a small block of Otis State Forest to the south of Route 23 in East Otis.
Directions:
Access to the large western tract that extends into Sandisfield is available directly from Route 23. The large eastern tract can be accessed from Church Hill Road (off of Route 23 in East Otis).
