MINUTES
Meeting called by & time: Bill Dyer, 6:35PM.

Board Members Present: Bill Dyer, Kathy Carroll.
Others Present:
- Introductions. None needed.
- Review & approval of October 2011 Minutes. Reviewed & approved.
- Budget Update. Reviewed.
- Town Accountant reports.
- Rec Comm reports.
- 2 & 5 Year Plan—worksheet.
- Knox Trail Project—update. Plan to file NOI with Conservation Commission for bridge.
- Calendar of Events. Youth Dance needed to be changed to Wednesday afternoons instead of Tuesdays due to a conflict in the instructor’s schedule.
Rec Center.
- Well.
- Plumbing. Plumbing work was done (pipe ends capped) to try to resolve the contamination problem.
- Electrical. Selectmen discussed & it was decided to wait on any electrical work.
- Gym.
- Teen Night. Friday Night. Received one application for supervisor, will be reviewed & discussed further at next month’s meeting.
- Otis Gazette—advertising. Approved.
Maintenance—update.
- Playground Equipment.
- Staff. See 7E.
- Programs/Project Proposals.
- Updates on existing classes/programs.
- Yoga workshops. Discussed & approved workshop #2, Yoga Meditation. Date/time/cost TBD.
- Youth Theater Proposal.
- CPR.
- Basket Weaving. Reviewed & discussed. Would like to offer another workshop, maybe in the Spring.
- Rug Braiding. Went well, small group.
- Tai Chi. Reviewed surveys, very positive. Would like to offer again.
- Movie Night. Start in January?
- Gingerbread House Activity. Spectacular, went over very well, over 100 participants.
- Otis Ridge.
- Maple Corner Farm.
- 100 Acre Park—status.
- Beach.
- Update.
- Bylaws. Smart Growth Committee coming up with new by-laws to enforce as well as better signage.
- Conflict of Interest/Ethics Training.
- Memos. None.
- Old Business. Discussed the need for a department credit card.
- New Business.
- Adjourn.
