MINUTES
Members Present: Pat Barrett, Ernie Hood, Laurie Nikituk, Roberta Sarnacki, John Skrip, Anita Weinstein, Jane Gleason, Jo Ann Austin.
Guests: Russ Loring
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Laurie Nikituk at 7:05 PM
Approval of Minutes of Meeting #239: The Minutes of Meeting #239 were accepted as submitted. Moved Ernie Hood, , Seconded Anita Weinstein. Voted Unanimous.
Presentation of Van Bids: Jane Gleason presented the bids received. Discussion was held regarding the capacity for each of the vehicles quoted, warranty information, and the 7D regulations and restrictions.
Motion: To accept the bid presented by M-H-Q Municipal Vehicles pending clarification and possibility of financing. Moved Roberta Sarnacki, Seconded Pat Barrett. Voted Unanimous.
FY09 Budget Update: Jane Gleason reviewed our present expenditures and anticipated revenues and expenses through the end of the fiscal year.
School Committee Interview of Principal Finalists: Interviews of the final candidates will take place next week on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. School Committee will meet at 6:00 and interviews will be held at 6:45 and 7:30 PM.
Update on Refinancing of School Bond: Jane Gleason reported that all the requested information has been provided to Unibank. A conference with the Bond Rating company will take place on April 21, 2009 and pricing to take place on April 29, 2009.
Motion: To adjourn the meeting at 8:30 PM. Moved Roberta Sarnacki, Seconded John Skrip. Voted Unanimous.

Wednesday, April 15, 2009 – 7:00 PM
MINUTES
Members Present: Pat Barrett, Ernie Hood, Roberta Sarnacki, John Skrip, Anita Weinstein, Jane Gleason, Jo Ann Austin.
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:50 by Anita Weinstein.
Superintendent Jo Ann Austin introduced the first candidate, Tracy Lyon. The committee members introduced themselves and asked questions of the candidate. Additional questions were solicited from members of the public present.
Our second candidate, Mary Turo, was introduced by Superintendent Austin. Introductions were made by committee members, followed by questions to the candidate. The same questions solicited from members of the public were asked and answered.
Motion: To enter Executive Session to discuss the interviews, and return to General Session only to adjourn. Roll Call Vote: Pat Barrett-yes Ernie Hood-yes, Roberta Sarnacki-yes, John Skrip-yes, Anita Weinstein-yes.
Motion: To adjourn the meeting at 8:45 PM.
