MINUTES
Members Present: Roberta Sarnacki, John Skrip, Anita Weinstein, Jo Ann Austin, Mary Turo, Jane Gleason.
Call to Order: John Skrip called the meeting to order at 7:06 PM. Since we did not have a quorum present, no votes were taken. Approval of the Minutes and the Third Reading of the Cell Phone Policy will be placed on the agenda for the September meeting.
FY2009 Budget Recap: Jane Gleason reviewed the final revenue and expenditure report for Fiscal 2009.
FY2010 Budget: Discussion was held regarding reductions in Regional Transportation Aid and Chapter 70 funding. These cuts occurred after town meeting approval of our budget and town assessments. A revised FY2010 budget will be provided for review in September.
PK Van: A new van for preschool use has been ordered and will be delivered in two weeks. Discussion was held regarding disposal of the old van. Options to be explored included offering it to either town for their use, declaring it as surplus property and selling it as is. The Business Office will follow up on this issue.
Committee Vacancies: Discussion was held about vacancies on the board from each town. Letters will be sent requesting assistance in filling these positions.
