MINUTES
Members Present: Nick DellaGiustina, Carol Lombardo, Laurie Nikituk, Susan Van Sickle, Anita Weinstein, Jo Ann Austin, Jane Gleason.
Guests: None present
Call to Order: Laurie Nikituk called the meeting to order at 5:34 PM.
Approval of Minutes: The Minutes of Meeting #273 were approved as corrected. Moved Anita Weinstein, Seconded Carol Lombardo. Voted Unanimous.
Approval of Fire Fund Donation: Jane Gleason explained that the District has received an anonymous donation from the FIRE Fund for the specific purpose of reinstating the paraprofessional and library positions that were eliminated from our current budget.
Motion: To accept the FIRE Fund donation to be used to reinstate the paraprofessional and library positions eliminated from our FY2012 budget as specified. Moved Anita Weinstein, Seconded Nick DellaGiustina. Voted Unanimous.
Sick Leave Extension: Jane Gleason provided an update on the status of our cafeteria employee, Bonnie Rocke. She requested that the Committee grant an unpaid medical leave of absence to Mrs. Rocke. Current sick time will be used to cover her health insurance costs for the months of September and October. If further leave is necessary, the family will cover the employee portion of the health insurance.
Motion: To grant a medical leave of absence to Bonnie Rocke, utilizing current accumulated sick time to cover her health insurance for the months of September and October. If further leave is necessary, the family will cover the employee portion of the health insurance.
Motion: To adjourn the meeting at 5:50 PM. Moved Anita Weinstein, Seconded Carol Lombardo. Voted Unanimous
